Description

The Avocent T DSR1021 Digital-analog KVM Switch is specifically designed for IT administrators who need to easily troubleshoot, reboot or even power cycle servers or serial devices in branch offices. It offers the flexibility of multi-user, multi-location solutions with both local and IP access for all major server platforms and serial-based devices. The unit works with DSRIQ CAT 5 smart cable to significantly reduce cable bulk in the rack. The switch incorporates Avocent T DSView management software providing secure KVM over IP access and control anywhere, anytime. With DSView software, IT administrators can access a branch office's servers, routers, DSUs and switches from any location - even over a Web browser. The DSR1021 includes eight configurable ports for maximum flexibility when connecting to servers or serial devices. Combining external modem support and power control in a single solution, the Avocent T DSR1021 KVM Switch is ideal to provide secure 24/7 remote access to critical network devices in your branch offices.
